Bangkok - here we come! (we hope..!)

So...we finished the packet of Paprika..and then what happened? Well...NOTHING much...apart from the fact that we got told after another hour of waiting, our flight was "most definitely" cancelled and that we had no chance of flying into London last night. Imagine the mad run for the transfer/ticketing desk..

hmmm...another day another try....it's almost painful thinking back of yesterday's first travelling experience......just to give you guys a little feel of our pains - that is the queue we had to suffer through to get to the counter where we could rebook our tickets:

and it was truly the slowest moving queue EVER! unbelievable....for 250 stranded passengers they had freaking 3 counters! hmm...but after another two hours wait we made it to the counter and could rebook our tix! :-/ We told them we're homeless people so we even managed to get a room in the rather luxurious Park Inn Hotel close to the airport (with all things being relative, of course..i mean apart from the shower cubicle being in the room itself, the bed was rather comfortable and it even had elevation controls-like the ones in hospitals/old people's homes)! :-/ But before making it there, we gave ourselves a good treat at Burger King.... *yuummmmyyy*

And what's the plan now so early in the morning? To avoid London and another day of disappointments we're flying to Madrid and from there to Bangkok...sth good about this: it's with Swiss and Thai Airways....so we managed to get in the Swiss Lounge and have Gipfeli and Orange Juice for breakfast...*yeay*! more promising start today so far...... :)

ohhh....our flight is at 7...so need to go now! we'll keep you posted.....keep your fingers crossed for us! :)
